What to Expect at Living Word Church

Whether you’re brand new to church or returning after some time away, we want you to know something right from the start: you belong here. At Living Word Church, our mission is simple — to lead people to Christ and empower them to live victorious lives. From the moment you pull into the parking lot to the final “Amen,” our goal is to make your visit welcoming, meaningful, and life-changing.

🅿️ Parking & Arrival

When you arrive at either of our campuses in Eclectic or Millbrook, you’ll find parking areas near the main entrance. There are handicap specific parking spaces in the very front of the building, nearest the entrance. In Eclectic, parking in the paved area filles quickly. If the paved area is full feel free to park down the side of the building in the gravel area. Our neighbors at the gas station also allow parking in the back of their building as well.

In Millbrook, we share a parking lot with other business, so feel free to park wherever you are most comfortable.

When you come throught the door Our First Impressions Team will be there to greet you with a smile and answer any questions you might have.

We recommend arriving about 10–15 minutes early to allow time to park, and grab a cup of coffee before service begins.

From the moment you step inside, you’ll notice that Living Word feels like family. You’ll be greeted by people who are genuinely glad you’re here — no pressure, no judgment, just kindness and connection. If you need directions, information, or prayer, any of our volunteers will be happy to help.

👶 Kids & Youth

We believe that children and students should love coming to church too! That’s why we offer safe, fun, and Bible-centered ministries for every age group.

LightKeepers CM (Ages 5–11): Our children’s ministry meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM and Sundays at 10:30 AM, following a time of "Family Worship". Your children will experience worship, Bible lessons, games, and hands-on activities designed to help them grow in their faith. Following corporate worship in the sanctuary our Lightkeepers will be dismissed. Our Lightkeepers staff will be nearby to help.
Youth Ministry: Students gather on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM for age-appropriate teaching, friendships, and encouragement to live boldly for Christ.

Your children’s safety is one of our highest priorities.

In Eclectic: Our nursery provides parent pagers, so if your little one needs you during service, we can reach you immediately. A secure check-in system is also in place to give you complete peace of mind while you worship.

In Millbrook: The setup is slightly different — your child’s classroom is located right next to the sanctuary, so they are always close by. You can relax knowing they’re safe, cared for, and never far from you.

⏱️ Service Length & Flow

Our Family Worship service typically last about 75–90 minutes. A typical service includes:

Uplifting, Spirit-filled worship
Prayer and encouragement
A relevant, Bible-based message
A chance to respond and receive prayer at the altar

We believe in creating space for God to move — so while we follow a plan, we also make room for the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.

👕 Dress & Atmosphere

Come as you are! You’ll see everything from jeans and casual wear to more traditional Sunday attire. What matters most is that you’re here. We care far more about hearts than outfits.

🙌 Worship Style

At Living Word, worship is passionate, joyful, and Christ-centered. Our services are Spirit-filled and rooted in the Word of God. Expect heartfelt singing, biblical preaching, and an atmosphere where the presence of God is welcomed and lives are changed. Psalms 150 will give you a glimpse into what you can expect during our Family Worship service.
